1. What data we process about you
a) Website
During your visit to our website, when you book taxi rides we will process the following information:
The date and time you access our website, your first name, last name, email address, phone number, payment method, pickup time and pickup location, the cookies listed under section 2, and any information you provide yourself in the Notes field.
You are not obliged to provide the data we ask you for on our website. However, if you do not, you will not be able to use all functions of the website or place a ride order.
b) Telephone booking
When processing telephone bookings, we will process the phone number, pickup location, pickup time and—if provided by the user—the destination. If you are registered with us as a regular customer, we will process the data you have provided. This includes your first name, last name, email address, phone number, payment method, pickup time and pickup location.
2. Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies. A cookie is a small file that can be stored on your computer when you visit a website. On our website, we only use cookies that are essential for placing an order. These so-called “session” cookies remain in your browser for as long as you are on our website and are deleted by your browser immediately after you leave our website.
On our website, we use so-called session cookies from our partner OMQ (OMQ GmbH, Chausseestraße 22, 10115 Berlin) to process customer enquiries. When you access our website, OMQ creates a so-called session ID. This ID is a randomly generated number that temporarily stores the session cookies used. However, the session cookies remain valid only for a period of one hour. For the purposes stated above, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients:
- contractors or drivers arranged by us who are involved in carrying out the ride
- IT service providers engaged by us
- processors, for the purposes stated in section 3
6. Storage period
We will store your data until the end of the contractual relationship and beyond that for as long as statutory retention periods (e.g. accounting retention obligations for a period of 7 years) apply or for as long as legal claims arising from the contractual relationship exist.
7. Your rights in connection with personal data
You are entitled, among other things, 1. to check whether and which personal data we have stored about you and to receive copies of this data, 2. to request the correction, completion or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or processed unlawfully, 3. to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, and 4. under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw consent previously given for processing, 5. to request data portability, 6. to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, and 7. to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
